Getting the slab walls up

I'm afraid time has gotten away from me, and I've been just a bit to busy to get on to load some updates.  But so far the bricks have been laid to build up for the slabs.

Here is Miss Jada laying the first block.  It appeared to come naturally to her!



After Jada did some more groundworks with Dad, and an inspection or two, the boys laid the blocks to create the skeleton for the conrete pour.  It feels great to have this done.  Really good to get a feeling of the room sizes.

So yes, the slab will be up this high.

The boys just need to place fill within the area now (soil), before they do a concrete pour.  The floor will actually be up this high at the back.  Great idea I think.
