So where was I...well as you may have guessed from my last post, the garage slab has been poured. Here it is here finished. We were so excited we are ready to lay down a swag and move in already.
The next step was to finish filling the larger area for the second concrete pour and to dig holes for the cast in plates (that will be laid in the concrete). These cast in plates will be used to secure the steel framework for the lower floor.
The boys also worked on the upper level floor and deck. Below you can see them positioning the steel in concrete footings. These steel beams are the framework for the back deck.
