Goodbye tree

My favourite part of the day is definetly when everyone goes home (only because its the only safe time to venture out) and Cam is here.  We are having lots of fun with Jada.  Checking out whats changed, climbing in and out of the machinery.  Kicking and playing around in the dirt and finding pretty little rocks.

This girl has construction and earthmoving in her blood

Yesterday the boys got straight into it and removed the tree so it wont be in their way when we build.  In some ways, its sad to see it go.  The block is now bare and the boys are setting out for the different slabs and levels.  These boys are so clever the way they work with 'levels'.  Its an amazing and probably underated skill.

This baby was the only real tree on our block when we bought it.  She has provided many a working days shade.

Two of them up there in the Cherry Picker with a chainsaw each.  Another in a machine putting the tree branches in the Tipper truck.  Took most of the day but it was a big job.

Tree now gone, only stump left to remove
